Carara covers a low mountainous area of 4,700 acres. In a climatologically zone of transition, from the dry north Pacific to the very humid coast of the south.

Despite the lushness of vegetation, this dry rain forest has relatively clear undergrowth which makes it easy to observe the abundant wildlife. You will spend approximately 3 hours exploring the trails under the canopy of giant trees.

A stop will be made at Jaco Beach where you will have time to enjoy the beach and lunch.
