We invite you to explore one of the most beautiful National Parks in Costa Rica, Marine National Park Ballena, located near the village of Uvita in the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Our Whale Watching tour gives you the opportunity to spot pilot whales and humpback whales, when these are migrating from North to during their mating season, following the warm waters of the Central Pacific Ocean. This Whale Watching Tour starts from Manuel Antonio, and it takes about 1-hour drive to the Marino Ballena National Park, along the way our naturalist guide will explain the history of our people and he will show different beaches such as Dominical, Playa Matapalo, Playa Uvita. Once in the boat and started the tour you will sail along the coast of the Pacific Ocean for three hours in search of whales and dolphins, going by the beautiful Roca Ballena, las Cavernas in front of Playa Ventanas y Roca Viuda y Tres Hermanas, a natural outstanding rock system. Whale sightseeing is not an exact science; therefore, we can t guarantee to spot one. However, chances to see a whale are very high! A minimum of 4 people is required for the Whale Watching Tour from Manuel Antonio or Quepos Area, or in the event that less than 4 individuals want to participate they must cover the cost equivalent to 4 adult rates.
